What a pressure washing invoice should include
Every invoice needs your business details, the customer, an invoice number, the dates, the line items, the total, and the balance due. The invoice maker above handles those. These are the lines that matter most for pressure washing work:
- The same lines as the estimate. Use the same surfaces, square feet, and rates you quoted, so the customer can check the invoice against the estimate line by line.
- Condition extras, as quoted. If the estimate had an algae or oil line, keep it on the invoice with the same wording. A new extra you found on site needs the customer's OK before it goes on the bill.
- Add-ons from the day, on their own lines. Trash bins, an extra patio, or the windows the customer asked for once you were there. Say they were approved, like "approved by text."
- Deposit already paid. Type the deposit in the deposit box, and the invoice shows the total, the deposit, and the balance due.
- Honest notes on stains. If old oil or rust only lightened, say so on the invoice. It heads off a call later and opens the door to a follow-up job.
- When to come back. Many customers rebook every year or two. A line in the notes, or a text after they pay, keeps you first on the list.

Pressure washing invoice questions
What should a pressure washing invoice include?
Your business name and phone, the customer and property address, an invoice number and date, and the due date. Then each surface with its square footage and rate, any condition extras like heavy algae, add-ons like gutter brightening, anything the customer added on the day, the total, the deposit already paid, and the balance due. Finish with how to pay.
How do I bill an add-on the customer asked for on site?
Give the price before you do the work and get a yes in writing, even a text. Then put it on the invoice as its own line and say it was approved. In the sample, the customer added 2 trash bins at $15 each, so the invoice is $30 more than the estimate.
How do I show the deposit on a pressure washing invoice?
Type it in "Deposit or payments already received." The invoice subtracts it and shows the balance due. The sample took a $100 deposit on a $1,078.00 estimate. With the $30 add-on, the final invoice is $1,108.00 and shows $1,008.00 due.
When should I send a pressure washing invoice?
Most pressure washing businesses send it the day of the job, right after the walk-through, with payment due on receipt. Many customers pay on the spot by card or a payment app. Send the invoice anyway, so they have a record of what was washed.
